The Hangzhou West Lake Expo Museum, located at No. 41 Beishan Road, Xihu District, Hangzhou, is the original site of the Industrial Hall of the first West Lake Expo in 1929. It was converted into the West Lake Expo Museum in 2003 .

The entire building, nestled against the mountain and facing the lake, echoes the Bai Causeway in the distance, with its main structure shaped like a Chinese character "回" . The structure is both refined and rigorous, not only strictly preserving the style of the historical building, but also maintaining the basic characteristics and appearance of the time within the interior, while appropriately incorporating some modern facilities and decoration.

The museum uses a modern display method that combines " audio, image and film " to display precious historical materials of the West Lake Expo, and records the process of the Hangzhou Municipal Government's reconstruction of the West Lake Expo brand since 2000 .
