
Green Lotus Pond Ancient Nanmu Forest Park, located in Tongjia Village, Shouchang Town, Jiande District, Hangzhou, is an original ancient Nanmu forest park with a history of 1,500 years. It has a large area of natural evergreen broad-leaved forest and large tracts of natural Nanmu forest. It is also the largest ancient Nanmu growth community discovered in Asia so far.
This is one of the best places for viewing trees. Phoebe nanmu, Phoebe hongnanmu, and Rhododendron huadongensis all blend harmoniously in this forest. Here, pedestrians are few and far between, with only the sound of birdsong and the sound of nanmu trees, and no clouds visible, creating a serene wonderland.
The forest's main peak, at 819 meters above sea level, offers sweeping views of Qiandao Lake. The air within the forest is exceptionally fresh, with negative oxygen ion levels meeting the national Class A standard. Here, one can pursue the tranquility of the forest and listen to the breath of flowing water, creating a natural environment that inspires inspiration, artistic innovation, self -cultivation, and the promotion of civilization.
The park is suitable for all seasons. The annual average temperature is 17.8 ℃ , and the highest temperature in summer does not exceed 28 ℃ . April and May are the flowering seasons of nanmu trees. Large tracts of nanmu trees are in full bloom, and the fragrance of flowers is everywhere, creating a spectacular scene.
