Introducing Yunsong Bookstore

Yunsong Book House, located at No. 13 Lingyin Road on the edge of West Lake in Hangzhou , is a little-known quiet place. It was built at the expense of Mr. Jin Yong and designed based on the plum garden in " The Smiling , Proud Wanderer " . It was later donated to the Hangzhou Municipal Government for free for literary lovers and tourists to visit.

The library is primarily filled with exhibits related to Mr. Jin Yong, including inscriptions, calligraphy and paintings, and old photographs. Murals depicting Jin Yong's fifteen novels adorn the corridor walls. The layout draws on the strengths of Jiangnan gardens, emphasizing the natural wildness of the landscape. It comprises buildings such as Gengyun Pavilion, Yulan Pavilion, and Songfeng Mingyue Tower. Gengyun Pavilion was where Mr. Jin Yong met and gathered. Over the door is inscribed his own couplet: " Flying snow stretches across the sky, shooting white deer; laughing, writing, and the heroic hero leaning against the green mandarin duck . "
