The former site of the Henry Watch Shop is located at No. 229 Zhongshan Middle Road , Hangzhou . It was built in the 1920s by the " Watch King " Sun Meitang . The main body of the building is a traditional Chinese structure, and the facade along the commercial street uses a variety of Western decorative elements, which is similar to the architecture of the Henry stores in Nanjing and Tianjin.
The third floor features three balconies, each with a vase-shaped stone railing and separated by Roman-style rectangular columns. The entire building embodies the typical style of commercial architecture that blended Chinese and Western elements during the Republican era.
