Visit the historic Liuyu Mountain Residence to explore its ancient architecture, enjoy serene mountain views, and learn about its cultural significance. Take a hike around the mountain to experience the beautiful surroundings and peaceful atmosphere.

Liuyu Mountain Residence, originally located at the northern foot of Nangao Peak, was a famous garden landscape in the Qing Dynasty. Emperor Qianlong inscribed the plaque " Liuyu Mountain Residence " during his southern tour , but the plaque was later destroyed. In 2004 , the landscape was rebuilt near the original site according to the layout of Liuyu Mountain Residence recorded in ancient books, and the old name of Liuyu Mountain Residence was retained.
According to historical records, following the path up from Liutong Temple, one finds a forest of bizarre rocks nestled among the trees and grass, a scene beyond description. A spring gushed down from the rock face, several feet high, gushing forth cascading streams of water and jade, the collision of water and rock creating a sound like the melodies of a musical instrument. Unfortunately, it no longer exists.
