Nearby, beside Pinghu Qiuyue, stands the Yuebo Pavilion, a structure on the western edge of the Water Courtyard . Construction began in 1699 , the 38th year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. It now boasts a Qing Dynasty-style wooden structure with a hip roof.
