Introducing Yongjin Park

Yongjin Park is located on the shores of West Lake in Hangzhou. During the Wuyue period, King Qian Yuanguan of Wuyue diverted water from the West Lake into the city, excavating the Yongjin Pool and building this gate, which borders the lake. According to the Song Dynasty's "Yunlu Manchao," a golden bull once emerged from this area, hence the name.

Inside the park's Yongjin Pond, there's also a statue of Zhang Shun. Zhang Shun is one of the 108 generals in the late Yuan and early Ming novel "Water Margin. " Known as the " White Stripe in the Waves ," he originally fished on the Xunyang River, later making his way to Liangshan Marsh, where he achieved numerous military exploits.
