Xiaoshan Museum is located at the foot of Beigan Mountain in Xiaoshan, Hangzhou, and at the foot of Beishan Park. The museum has a simple and elegant appearance and houses the Porcelain Dawn Hall, Historical Celebrities Hall, Boutique Hall, Calligraphy and Painting Hall, Multimedia Hall and Temporary Exhibition Hall.

The museum currently has more than 4,000 collections , ranging from utensils of the Kuahuqiao culture of the Neolithic Age to those of the Ming and Qing Dynasties and modern times, including five major categories: ceramics, calligraphy and painting, metal, jade and stone items, and ancient books. The wide variety of items and exquisite artifacts are a powerful testament to Xiaoshan's long history and splendid culture.
