Changning Ancient Road, located in Lin'an City, starts from Longjing Village in Lin'an and ends in Ningguo, Anhui Province. It is about 16 kilometers long and was once an important transportation route for merchants and local people in Lin'an and Anhui.Together with Hu Xueyan's " Ancient Tea-Horse Road ", it is another thousand-year-old ancient post road on the Hangzhou-Anhui Ancient Road.

" Ten miles of green mountains and five miles of horizontal trees " describes the long Changning Ancient Road. In recent decades, because few people have walked on it, it has almost been buried in the grasslands and forests, but the ancient road has been well preserved and in its original mysterious state.
