Introducing Xiangshan Art Commune

Xiangshan Art Commune is located at the southern foot of Xiangshan Mountain in Zhuantang Street, Xihu District, Hangzhou. It was designed by Li Kaisheng, a famous architect and professor at the China Academy of Art. It is designed with the overall image and spatial structure of " a clear and distant picture of mountains and rivers on one axis, mountains and rivers on both sides, cities and villages intertwined, and winding streams flowing " as the overall image and spatial structure. It connects Zhejiang Conservatory of Music and China Academy of Art from west to east.

The commune's 12 Xiangshan landscapes and 24 nodes are strategically designed to follow the mountain's terrain, creating a natural and elegant aesthetic. The overall design, based on black, white, and gray, creates a New Jiangnan-style artistic community. The 59 residences, unified in design concept and materials, present a unique and stylish spatial quality.
