Introducing Yunxi Covered Bridge

The Yunxi Covered Bridge, located over the Yunxi River at the southern end of Hejia Village in Chun'an County, Hangzhou, is a two-pier, three-arch, flat-beam wooden covered bridge. The piers are built of stone slabs in a boat-like shape. Construction began during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, making it nearly 500 years old.

Yunxi Bridge is unique in its construction, integrating a bridge, pavilion, and tower into one. Railings are set on either side of the bridge deck, and backrest seats are set up at the two long ends and between the railings, making it look like a corridor. It is full of ethnic characteristics and is the crystallization of the wisdom of the ancient working people.
