Jiangnan Longmen Bay is located at the entrance of Dayuan Creek, a tributary of the Fuchun River in Tonglu, across from Yan Ziling's fishing platform. Historically, this was a natural harbor where fishing boats docked. For thousands of years, local fishermen hoisted white sails and used cormorants to help them catch fish, hence the name Cormorant (Luci) Bay.
