
Xianglian Island, also known as Sangxia Ecological Park, is located on the shores of Yanling Lake in Dongqiao, Fuyang . It is China's largest base for the cultivation, production, and processing of fragrant lotus flowers. Lotus flowers abound throughout the island, and on Xianglian Island, you can even see nine-colored lotus flowers, which can be used in cooking or eaten raw, boasting significant ornamental, edible, beauty-enhancing, and health-promoting properties.
The island is surrounded by lush green mountains and white egrets flutter by the water's edge. In the mornings, the mountaintops are shrouded in mist. There's a small zoo, a barbecue garden, and fishing opportunities, where you can fish, barbecue, pick fruits, and sample farm-style dishes. The island's 21 villas offer a unique experience, like " picking chrysanthemums under the eastern fence, leisurely gazing at the southern mountains ."
