Introducing Hangzhou Nantianmu Forest Park

Hangzhou Nantianmu Forest Park is located in Guifangqiao Village, Tianmushan Town, Lin'an City. Nantianmu belongs to the Yuling - Fuchuanling mountain range, the southern branch of Lin'an's two major mountain ranges. It originates from the East Tianmu Mountain range and, after crossing the Hualong Gorge, rises to form a series of towering peaks, resembling a peacock spreading its feathers, winding its way to form Nantianmu Mountain.

The top of Nantianmu Mountain is 669 meters above sea level and is a low mountain. Since ancient times, it has been regarded as a " treasure land " for spiritual practice by Buddhists and Taoists. There is a thousand-year-old temple, Thousand Buddha Temple, in Yuhuangping on the mountain. It is the place where the 19th generation ancestor of the Longmen School practiced. A Taoist immortal is also enshrined in the Taiji Cave behind the Guanyin Pavilion of the Zen temple.
