Xianzhao Temple, located on the summit of Shiyan Mountain in Xiaoshan, next to Yilan Pavilion, is an ancient temple from the Southern Song Dynasty . First built during the Shaoxing period of the Southern Song Dynasty , it was named after the idea that " the light of the rising sun shines on this temple first . " Whenever the sun rises, the temple's yellow walls and eaves are the first to be illuminated by its myriad rays of light.

The " Xianzhao Chenxi " of Xianzhao Temple is also one of the ancient scenic spots of Xianghu Lake. In the morning light, Xianzhao Temple is hidden among the green trees, magnificent and golden. Together with the dark green Shiyan Mountain, it is reflected in the lake, and the scenery is charming.
