
Qianren Cave, located west of Tianchi Cave on the southern slope of Nangao Peak in Hangzhou's West Lake, is over 320 meters long. The highest point of the cave chamber is approximately 7 meters, and the largest part is over 1,300 square meters. The flat terrain allows for the accommodation of 1,000 people . It is the largest known karst cave in the West Lake mountains.
The cave is divided into three chambers: upper, middle, and lower. The upper chamber is the largest, approximately 80 meters long, while the middle chamber is about 50 meters long. The lower chamber has a gentle slope of approximately 12 degrees and is only 1 to 1.5 meters high. Inside the cave, there are karst features such as stalactites, rock waterfalls, and numerous collapsed rock masses.
