Pan Tianshou's tomb, located in the northwest corner of Lotus Peak on Jiuyao Mountain in Hangzhou, behind the Qingshuiwan Hotel, is the joint burial site of Pan, his wife, and their eldest son. The tomb is large, its foundation paved with concrete, and its form is unique, constructed from cement. The tombstone is adorned with gold-plated characters.
Pan Tianshou was a renowned modern painter and educator, educated by Jing Hengyi, Li Shutong, and others. His freehand bird-and-flower paintings were initially influenced by Wu Changshuo, and later by Shitao and Bada Shanren.
