
The former residence of Zhang Jingjiang, also known as Jingyi Villa, is located at No. 5 Geling Road , Beishan Street, Hangzhou . It is the former residence of Zhang Jingjiang, who was praised by Mr. Sun Yat-sen as " the first extraordinary man in China " during the Republic of China period . He served as the chairman of the Zhejiang Provincial Government and hosted the West Lake Expo in 1929.
The villa faces the lake and leans against the mountain. The sun rises in the east and sets in the west. The theme building consists of two adjacent European-style two-story buildings connected by a curved corridor. It is one of the best places to overlook West Lake in Beishan Scenic Area.
