Introducing Yunting

Yunting, located at the northern foot of Gushan Mountain in Hangzhou, west of Fanghe Pavilion, was built in 1920 on the site of Chaoju Pavilion. Today, it is a hexagonal stone pavilion with square pillars. Yunquan (Cloud Spring) is situated beside it, and the stone inscriptions "A Piece of Cloud," "Agate Slope," and "De Yunshi" are meant to represent a cloud on Gushan Mountain.

Yunting is facing the concave valley of Geling, with an empty lake in the middle, thus forming the " sound transmitted in the empty valley " phenomenon .
