Introducing Long Hongjian

Longhongjian, located on the southern slope of Fenghuangling in Longjing, Hangzhou, originates from Longjing, flows through Dixin Marsh, Guoxi Pavilion, and Waijilong before emptying into West Lake. Emperor Qianlong inscribed the name " Longhongjian " on this spot , making it one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Longjing.

The springs here flow year-round. Flowing down from the edge of Longjing Temple, the stream cascades down over the cliffs, past the creek pavilion, and into West Lake. Ancient travelogues describe the beauty of Longhong Stream: "In the Dixin Marsh area, jagged rocks abound, and the stream bursts forth from the chaotic peaks like dozens of white dragons, the roar of the torrent crashing into the rocky grottoes resonating like millions of gongs and drums."
