Introducing Qianqingguan

Qianqingguan, located on the Wuyue Ancient Road, was built 1,100 years ago by the Wuyue Kingdom. Constructed along a mountainside, it once served as a strategic location at the border between the ancient Wuyue Kingdom and the Southern Tang Kingdom, where a major war broke out. It now sits on the border between Lin'an, Zhejiang Province, and Ningguo, Anhui Province. Together with Qianqiuguan and Yulingguan, it is known as one of the Three Passes of Anhui and Zhejiang.

The city wall is built of large and small stones and is a military structure. Qianqingguan Pass is composed of two huge and smooth granite blocks, blocking the view like a gate. This natural stone gate is nearly 4 meters high, about 3 meters thick, and wide enough for two people to walk side by side. Its momentum is " one man guarding the pass, ten thousand men cannot open it . "
