The former site of Hangzhou Industrial Bank, located at No. 261 Zhongshan Middle Road , Hangzhou, was built in 1918. It was formerly the Railway Bank of Zhejiang Railway Company and was designed by Shen Liyuan, the first generation of Chinese architects who studied in Italy. Today, it has become a landmark building in Hangzhou, and many newlyweds choose it as the background for photo shoots and wedding photos.

The building is a two-story, five-bay, Western-style classical building, facing east and square in plan. Its main structure is a steel-concrete structure, housing 78 rooms of varying sizes and a basement vault. The entrance steps are flanked by curved stone drums, each housing an Ionic double-columned gatehouse, facade, and steps. The columns are constructed of Suzhou Jinshan granite. The central section of the building is the highest, housing a large clock.
