The former site of Zhang Yunsheng Department Store, located at 70 Zhongshan Middle Road , Hefang Street, Hangzhou, is a three-bay Western-style building built in 1926. It now houses a McDonald's, and in addition to the exterior, most of the building's Western-style ceilings, staircases, doors, and windows remain.

This was Hangzhou's earliest department store. It housed two workshops, one for thread and one for hat making, with a front-of-house and back-of-house layout. The store's silk thread was made with meticulously selected materials and meticulously crafted, earning it a prize at the West Lake Expo. Before the Anti-Japanese War, it was the largest department store in Hangzhou, both in terms of both staff and turnover.
