
The former site of Huade Pharmacy is located at No. 184 Zhongshan Middle Road .The pharmacy was founded in 1941. Ye Baoqing rented the house from the owner of Wanyuan Silk Shop for three dan of rice per month and opened the Huade Pharmacy. Huade Pharmacy continued to operate in the same building into the 1950s .
The former site is a two-story, three-bay Western-style building with a two-story brick and wood structure, a two-sloping roof, and a rectangular floor plan. The west facade is the primary facade, symmetrically arranged along the central axis. The building is finished with cement plaster imitating block stone, creating the visual effect of fine-seam stone masonry.
