Introducing Wangzhuang

Wangzhuang, located at No. 43 Beishan Street , Hangzhou, was built in the 1920s . The earliest owner was Li Guojun from Beijing. Later, it was transferred to Wang Xiaoce, a well-known figure in the Shanghai financial circle, so it was renamed Wangzhuang.

In 1929 , it was opened as the second branch of the Industrial Pavilion of the West Lake Expo. In the mid -1930s , Zhejiang University President Guo Renyuan lived here. In 1936 , the Nationalist government appointed Zhu Kemo as the president of Zhejiang University, and the handover ceremony was held here .
