
Yongfu Bridge, located within the Wuguitan Scenic Area, was originally built during the Hongzhi reign of the Ming Dynasty . After undergoing several reconstructions during the Ming and Qing dynasties, it was relocated from Tonglu County in 2003 to the Wuguitan Scenic Area in Yanggongdi, West Lake, for permanent preservation.
The Yongfu Bridge was also transformed from an arch bridge to a slanted beam bridge. The entire bridge is majestic yet delicate, with nine stone slabs at each end serving as slanted support columns, for a total of 81 stone slabs , symbolizing unity , forming a unique arched archway.
