Xiying Pavilion, located in Changqiao Park on the south shore of West Lake, faces the rebuilt Leifeng Pagoda on the other side of the lake. A couplet on the pavilion pillar reads: " The golden pagoda shines anew in the setting sun; the slanting sun casts a shadow on Leifeng Peak. " It is one of the best places to view and photograph Leifeng Pagoda.
