Introducing Wuyue Suburban Altar Site

The Wuyue Suburban Altar Ruins are located halfway up the Yuhuang Mountain Scenic Area. They were built in the early years of the Longde Period of the Later Liang Dynasty. They were the place where the King of Wuyue, Qian Liu, offered sacrifices to the heavens . The suburban altar ruins are divided into three levels. The first level platform is Dengyun Terrace. Standing on the southernmost side of Dengyun Terrace and looking southeast, you can see the Bagua Field right at your fingertips.

The ruins include Linghua Cave, Dengyun Cave, Zhutian Temple Cave , Ganlu Well, Wumeng Bed and nearly ten cliff inscriptions, and other relics are clearly visible.
