Le Villa, also known as Le Lu and Lin Zhuang , is located at No. 18 Geling Road . It is a Western-style blue brick villa built in the Republic of China. It has two courtyards. The courtyard is full of flowers and trees, and the rockery is rugged. The rockery's exquisite " thin, wrinkled, leaky and transparent " are all reflected here. It is a rare masterpiece.
The owner of Le Villa was originally a businessman in Shanghai. In the 1930s , like other Shanghai merchants, he bought land and built a house in West Lake. Chen Bulei, then the Minister of Education of Zhejiang Province, also lived here.
