The Sanya Yongtao Huanghuali Museum is the first private museum dedicated to Hainan Huanghuali in Sanya. Located in the Dadonghai Tourist Resort, the museum is adjacent to Yuya Road, the main thoroughfare of the municipal government. With over a decade of experience in collecting and appreciating Huanghuali, the museum is dedicated to the compilation and research of its culture. Opening its 8,500-square-meter exhibition area to island residents and tourists, the museum aims to preserve its collection while promoting Hainan Huanghuali culture.
The museum's first floor exhibition hall serves as an appreciation area for its collections, featuring Ming and Qing dynasty and imitation Ming and Qing dynasty furniture. These include the museum's treasured top-shaped chest of drawers, the quaint Ming and Qing Eight Immortals table, the royal Luohan bed and imperial chairs, and the richly colored and patterned antique shelves, treasure cabinets, and dressing tables.
