Huikai Ancient Road is the name of an ancient road that runs from Huizhou Prefecture to Kaihua County, Zhejiang Province.

Historically, the Huikai Ancient Road played a vital role in the exchange of goods, personnel, and information. As a crucial ancient route connecting Huizhou to Zhejiang, user-friendly amenities were essential. To provide a resting place for travelers, teahouses were once located along the Huikai Ancient Road, including the Wuliting Pavilion. However, due to erosion and disrepair, the Wuliting Pavilion collapsed in the 1960s. Today, only its ruins remain. Standing atop the ruins, one can only imagine what the pavilion once looked like. However, the story of the Wuliting Pavilion lives on through word of mouth in Yucun Township. The Huikai Ancient Road originally lacked a pavilion, but as merchants expanded, a Wuliting Pavilion was built. Building a pavilion at the time was extremely difficult, so it was funded by Baocheng, a native of Zhongzhou, Zhejiang, and overseen by Zhang Xikai of Lingjiao Village.

Although some facilities along the ancient road have collapsed and been damaged, the ancient road, which has withstood thousands of years of rain, snow, wind and frost, is still intact as a whole. This is undoubtedly due to the strong sense of protection of the villagers along the ancient road.
