The Yanqing Museum, the only large-scale comprehensive museum in Yanqing County, Beijing, is located in a bustling area on Yanqing's main thoroughfare (No. 24, Guishui North Street). The museum covers over 6,100 square meters, with exhibition space exceeding 2,400 square meters. Drawing on cultural relics preserved and collected by the Yanqing County Cultural Relics Management Office over the years, as well as unearthed artifacts from the Yanqing area, the museum presents a uniquely Yanqing-style modern exhibition across five sections.

Yanqing boasts a long history and rich cultural heritage. Primitive people inhabited Yanqing as early as 50,000 to 60,000 years ago, during the Middle and Late Paleolithic period. The museum houses a diverse collection of historical artifacts, including bronzes, ceramics, calligraphy and paintings, stone carvings, coins, jades, textiles and embroidery, bamboo, wood, ivory, and horn artifacts, and Buddhist statues, totaling over 6,000 items. Also featured are precious artifacts such as the bronze measuring cup and the gold shell coin.
