Introducing Wild Duck Lake Wetland Museum

Located within the Wild Duck Lake Wetland Park in northwest Yanqing County, Beijing, the Wild Duck Lake Wetland Museum officially opened to the public in June 2007. Resembling a soaring bird from above, it is the first wetland museum in North China. The museum's 2,050-square-meter exhibition hall comprises an introductory hall, an entrance to the Wild Duck Lake Wetland, a wetland exploration area, a circular cinema, a bird specimen exhibition hall, and temporary exhibition halls.


The museum's theme is to introduce and promote wetlands. It features nearly 20,000 words of information, over 200 accompanying images, and approximately 200 specimens of various plants and animals.
