Introducing Changshouling

Changshouling Village, located in Qianjiadian Town in eastern Yanqing District, Beijing, was formerly known as Paiziling. It is a quiet and peaceful mountain village with clean, tidy streets. At the village entrance stands a 600-year-old white elm tree. Later, as tourism developed, the village was renamed Changshouling to create a more memorable impression for tourists, citing the presence of this longevity tree.

Changshouling Folk Village boasts beautiful scenery and simple folk customs, making it one of the best folk villages in the Baili Landscape Gallery Scenic Area. Every year on the 18th day of the fourth lunar month, the Chaoyang Temple Fair gathers pilgrims from Yanqing and surrounding areas such as Huairou, Chicheng, and Changping, creating a spectacular spectacle. During the fair, visitors can enjoy opera, modern song and dance performances, enjoy vegetarian meals at the village, take photos with ancient trees, and admire the geological features of the dome and Shujian Peak.
