Located at 117 Machang Road, Heping District, Tianjin Technology and Business College, now Tianjin Foreign Studies University, is a stunning Western-style building. Completed in 1931, it was designed and built by a Frenchman, showcasing Renaissance architectural features.

The main building of the college is tall in the middle and low on all sides. A large round clock is embedded in the front and back walls of the roof, flanked by two pillars and topped by a rainbow-shaped shield. Similar details, rich in European classical charm, can be found in other buildings of the college. Also on Machang Road are Pan Fu's former residence and the Xiangyi Club, all of which are unique.
