Explore the vast karst formations, take a boat ride on the underground river, and admire the unique "Silver Fox" calcite formations.

The Silver Fox Cave Scenic Area, located in Xiayingshui Village, Fuzizhuang Township, Fangshan District, southwest of Beijing, covers an area of 1.8 square kilometers. It is the largest integrated karst cave complex in northern China, named for its stalactites that resemble silver foxes. The cave's multi-layered, branching structure resembles an underground maze, with clear, flowing water that never freezes year-round. Boating through the cave, where the boat moves while the water remains still, creates a fairyland experience. In summer, boating through the cave is incredibly cool and comfortable, making it a popular escape from the sweltering summer heat.
At the entrance to the cave stands a nearly 1,000-square-meter complex of courtyards, corridors, and waterside pavilions, resembling classical architecture. Outside the cave, Phoenix Mountain Park, nestled against the mountainside and covering hundreds of acres, boasts lush vegetation, flowers, and shrubs. Steps lead up to the summit for panoramic views, and the air is refreshing and natural.
