The Yunmeng Gorge Scenic Area is located west of the Miyun Reservoir, on the southeast slope of Yunmeng Mountain. The entire area is centered around a dramatic and winding northwest-to-southeast gorge, with dozens of distinct scenic areas connected throughout.

The further you go into the heart of Yunmeng Mountain, the more numerous and beautiful the unique peaks, strange rocks, clear pools, waterfalls, wild flowers, dense forests and other scenic spots become. Here, the mountains are towering, the ravines are deep, the peaks and rocks are shaped like humans and animals, and the pools and waterfalls shine like mirrors.
