The North Gate Tower, commonly known as the North Gate Tower because of its location north of Fenghuang Ancient Town, is constructed of local red sandstone, demonstrating meticulous craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail. The tower is connected to the East Gate Tower by a wall, forming a solid barrier for the ancient city. This location has been highly praised by film and television luminaries, with dozens of television series, such as "Xiangxi Bandit Suppression" and "Wulongshan Bandit Suppression," filmed here. Construction of the tower dates back to the Ming Dynasty. In the 54th year of Emperor Kangxi's reign, the brick city was rebuilt into a stone one, and the North Gate was named "Bihui Gate," a design that has survived to this day.
