Introducing Zhaojun Island

Zhaojun Island is located about 30 kilometers south of Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It faces the Yellow River to the south and faces the Zhaojun Tomb of Yili League across the river. The other three sides are surrounded by tributaries of the Yellow River, hence the name "Zhaojun Island".

It is 4 kilometers long from east to west and 2.5 kilometers wide from north to south. It has 25 species of xerophytes and desert plants and about 25 species of birds.
