Northern Weapons City was invested and built by Northern Heavy Industries Group. Located in Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, it is the largest military industry tourist attraction in western my country.
It covers an area of about 270 mu, including 60,000 square meters of green area, 20,000 square meters of water surface and 32,000 square meters of hardened area.
The overall project (Phase I) has a planned investment of 17 million yuan.

The main gate of the Weapon City is a majestic sign and nine cultural pillars. This is the main square area of the Weapon City.
The weapons display area is located on both sides of the main square, displaying 28 representative weapons of various types, including the first 100-mm high-powered rifle developed by the Republic, which was also known as the "First Cannon of the Republic" reviewed by Chairman Mao Zedong on the 10th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
