Jiufeng Mountain is located in the middle section of the Yinshan Mountains, about 10 kilometers north of Salaqi Town, Tumd Right Banner, and belongs to Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
It has a total area of more than 480 square kilometers, with the main peak at an altitude of 2,338 meters. Set against the backdrop of mountains, valleys, waterfalls and streams on both sides, it appears even more majestic and magnificent. Jiufeng Mountain is a rare natural scenic spot in the northwestern plateau area.
It is composed of East Nine Peaks, West Nine Peaks, Daxiliang, Tianlinbei, Pingbei Ce and other large and small peaks. It has the main peak known as "Little Taishan", seasonal waterfalls, "Stone Lake", "One Line Sky" and "Nantianmen".
Not only are there majestic and towering mountains and cliffs, but the canyons, gullies, streams and waterfalls are also very distinctive.
In summer and autumn, the mountains and fields are covered with exotic flowers and plants, competing with each other for fragrance and beauty, and the green is lush and lush.

Night visits and light shows are not available at Jiufeng Mountain Nature Reserve. The reserve is best enjoyed during daylight hours when the natural beauty and wildlife are most accessible.
The reserve can become crowded during weekends and public holidays. The least crowded times to visit are on weekdays in the early morning or late afternoon, particularly during the off-season (late autumn or winter).
