Hongshan Park is located 2 kilometers northeast of Chifeng City. Nestled between mountains and water, it boasts beautiful scenery and covers a total area of approximately 32 hectares. It is the largest park in the city.
At the foot of Red Mountain in the northeast of the park lies the rippling Crescent Lake. The Moon Viewing Bridge and Sister Bridge are located on the east and west sides of the lake, respectively. The lake is also equipped with various water recreational facilities.
In the eastern part of the park, between the two bridges, there are new attractions such as the "Gardening Hut" and the Lotus Viewing Bridge. It also has the largest "Lotus Pond" in Inner Mongolia, with an area of 0.9 hectares.
There are three lotus scenic spots and one water lily scenic spot in the park for tourists to enjoy the lotus. A new 1,500-meter garden road has been built in the east to provide convenience for tourists to visit the park and enjoy the lotus.
