
"Baicao Aobao" is located at the Jinlianhuatan scenic spot about one kilometer west of Hongshan Military Horse Farm. It was established in 2004 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of Hongshan Military Horse Farm of the Beijing Military Region.
The Baicao Aobao is made of 250,000 stones , symbolizing the unity of the 250,000 people in the banner , who contribute their wisdom and talents to the prosperity of Keqi. Tibetan Buddhist lamas were invited to consecrate the Baicao Aobao, which has become a tourist attraction on the Bashang Grassland.
Every summer and autumn, Baicao Aobao is crowded with pilgrims, with smoke curling up and devout people coming in an endless stream to pray for good luck, peace and happiness.
