Introducing Shentang Bay

Shentang Bay is surrounded by cliffs on three sides, with only a gap in the mountain on one side offering a panoramic view of the bay's depths. The bay is bottomless and mysterious, shrouded in constant fog and rain. Surprisingly, as soon as one approaches the bay's edge, one can faintly hear the sounds of gongs and drums, shouts and horses neighing, as if a massive army is engaged in a fierce battle. This is a major restricted area within the Wulingyuan Scenic Area. According to the "Cili County Chronicles" compiled during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, the area was originally called "Shentang Village" and is located west of Suoxi Valley, a deep, semicircular valley.
