
Lotus Lake, formerly known as Lotus Pao, is located 5 kilometers west of Fangzheng County, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province.
The total planted area of the lake is 73 hectares, of which 30.5 hectares are in flower. There are about five million lotus plants. It is named after the unique geographical environment where lotus flowers grow naturally.
It is the largest natural lotus lake with the most lotus flowers at the same latitude.
During the height of summer, the scenic area is filled with lotuses hidden in the shade of willows, purple swallows playing on lotuses, green leaves and red clouds, hibiscus reflecting the moon, and lotus flowers reaching the sun. It is as poetic and picturesque as a painting, making visitors linger.
There are five scenic spots in the scenic area: Lotus Hidden in Willow Shade, Purple and Yellow Lotus Playing, Green Leaves and Red Clouds, Hibiscus Reflecting the Moon, and Lotus Receiving the Sun.
