Diaoshui Lake Scenic Area is located in Hongsheng Forest Farm of Chaihe Forestry Bureau, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, 15 kilometers north of Diaoyutai Village and 95 kilometers from Mudanjiang City.

There are many beautiful stone peaks in the Diaoshui Lake Scenic Area, with strange pines and rocks scattered throughout the area. Two unpolluted and clear mountain rivers - Jinxi Valley and Yinxi Valley - flow all year round.

Due to the large drop, there are many waterfalls, forming the Jiulongtan Waterfall Group and the Diaoshui Lake Waterfall, and there is also a Shuiliandong Waterfall.
