Chenzhou Changjuan is an ancient architectural complex located in Suxian District, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province.
【History and Culture】
Although Chenzhou boasts a history of over 2,000 years, few ancient buildings remain. The Chenzhou Long Scroll, using replicas of ancient buildings, "preserves" fragments of Chenzhou's history, cultural symbols, and memories of its prosperity.
【Architectural style】
The architectural style of the scroll draws on the charm of Suzhou gardens, while also integrating the essence of Huizhou architecture and Lingnan bonsai art, forming a unique "one household, one scene" and "one place, one scene" style.
【Landscape Features】
Here there are ancient gatehouse gables built of blue bricks, stacked layer upon layer; there are various side gates, courtyards, pavilions, flowing fountains, green vines and wisteria, bamboos and flowers; there is also the high Yaoxian Pavilion, with winding corridors and elegance.
【Plate Distribution】
The scroll covers a total area of 550 mu, with the "Nine Streets and Eighteen Alleys" of the ancient Chencheng as the base map, and collects fine ancient buildings from various counties, cities and even rural areas as elements. It is divided into four major sections: tourism, commerce, health culture expo area and tree culture memorial park.
