
Guangyuan, a prefecture-level city in northern Sichuan Province, boasts a history spanning over 2,300 years. Since ancient times, it has served as a vital gateway into Sichuan. It is the birthplace of Wu Zetian, the only female emperor in Chinese history, and a key corridor of Three Kingdoms history and culture. Guangyuan is rich in resources and has beautiful scenery, with numerous historical sites and tourist attractions: Huangze Temple is the temple dedicated to the female emperor Wu Zetian; Thousand Buddha Cliff is known as the "Exhibition Hall of Stone Carving Art from All Dynasties"; Jianmen Shu Road is centered in Guangyuan; there is also Jianmen Pass, known as the "Most Powerful Pass in the World", Cuiyun Corridor with "Three Hundred Miles and One Hundred Thousand Trees", and the ruins of the ancient plank road on the thousand-foot cliffs, which fully demonstrate the style of this historical, cultural and tourist city.

Jianmen Pass Scenic Area
The Jianmen Pass Scenic Area, comprising Jianmen Pass and Cuiyun Corridor, was named one of the 100 most beautiful photography spots in Sichuan by China National Geographic. With its breathtaking scenery and renowned celebrities, the mountain range stretches over 100 kilometers from east to west, with its 72 peaks stretching out in a continuous pattern. It has been a strategic location throughout history. The area includes numerous attractions, including the Jianmen Pass Tower, the 72 peaks of Jianshan Mountain, the Stone Stalagmite Peak, the Double Crossing Cave, the Screen Wall Peak, the Fairy Bridge, the Ancient Plank Road, and the Liangshan Temple.
Zhaohua Ancient City
Zhaohua Ancient City lies at the confluence of the Bailong, Jialing, and Qingjiang Rivers. The Jialing River swirls here, creating a beautiful water system and a natural Tai Chi formation, earning it the reputation of "the world's first mountain and water Tai Chi." Surrounded by mountains on four sides and water on three sides, the ancient city boasts picturesque scenery, outstanding people, numerous ancient sites and relics, and a simple and elegant folk culture. It is an ideal destination for sightseeing, leisure vacations, and archaeological research.
Qianfo Cliff Scenic Area
Thousand Buddha Cliff is located on the east bank of the Jialing River, 5 kilometers north of Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province. The Shigui Pavilion, a perilous pavilion on an ancient plank road, lies at the southern end of the cliff, facing Huangze Temple across the river. Thousand Buddha Cliff is the largest grotto complex in Sichuan. Over the course of nearly 1,500 years, the 45-meter-high, over 200-meter-long cliffs are covered in statue niches, stacked 13 stories thick, like a honeycomb.
