Kitty Hawk Camp

Introducing Kitty Hawk Camp

As Russia's largest and most beautiful camp, Kitty Hawk Camp occupies a picturesque 4-kilometer coastline on the Black Sea. This demonstrates the importance the Russian government places on camp education. Directly under the Russian Ministry of Education, it is a true "state-owned camp."

Camp Little Eagle, spanning nearly 250 hectares, was officially established in 1960. Until 1991, it was exclusively affiliated with the Soviet Young Pioneers. After the collapse of the USSR, it expanded to include youth from around the world. Resembling both a resort and a university, it offers nine themed camps: Sailing, Starry Sky (astronomy), Solar (volunteer), Olympic, Leadership, Patriotic, and Retro (wilderness survival and ancient life) camps. It can accommodate 2,500 to 3,000 people at a time. Four of the nine camps are open year-round, with each session lasting 21 to 30 days, depending on the season.
