Red Flower Stone Forest
Honghuatang Stone Forest, one of the "Ten Scenic Spots of Qingjiang," was formed 140 million years ago and has been hailed by experts and scholars as a "rare geological museum." Some resemble drunkards, some maidens, and some ferocious beasts, showcasing the wonders of nature. Within the Honghuatang Stone Forest lies a massive stone pillar called Gaozhaizi. Naturally formed stone pillars of varying sizes and shapes can be found throughout the Enshi Qingjiang Scenic Area, but Gaozhaizi is the largest, most spectacular, and most distinctive of all.
Thousand Waterfall Gorge
One of the "Ten Scenic Spots of Qingjiang," Qianpu Gorge is renowned for its graceful waterfalls and unusual peaks and rocks. The 29-kilometer-long gorge is awash with springs and cascades every summer, with hundreds of waterfalls, large and small, some resembling silver threads, others like willow catkins, some magnificent, others gentle, each in a dazzling array of shapes and forms.
Smiling Sleeping Buddha
The Smiling Sleeping Buddha is one of the "Ten Scenic Spots of Qingjiang River". This is a yellow rock wall. The black watermark between the rock walls outlines a smiling sleeping Buddha. The eyes, nose, mouth, and robes are vaguely visible, which is very unique.
